Bitterne Festival 2019 was a great success with over 5000 people attending across the day. The success was down to all the hard work and efforts of the Bitterne Festival Committee, all the volunteers that helped on the day, local traders and support from other local charities.
Thank you to all the stall holders who attended, without them the festival never would have taken place. We hope to see you all again for Bitterne Festival 2020.
See the TV coverage below along with some photo's of the day.
A few kind words from the public

Bitterne Festival History
Bitterne Festival was set up in 2015 in order to promote local charities and faith groups, and to enable families to enjoy a day out together with loads of free activities for the kids. This is a growing enterprise and in 2018 we were able to welcome 4000 people to the festival over the course of the day.
Inflatable assault course
Children at Bitterne Festival 2018 enjoyed a fantastic inflatable assault course which was provided by a local company.
Julie's Dance Studio
Julie's Dance Studio gave the children a fantastic opportunity to experience a professional dance class.
King of the castle
The bouncy castle, as is to be expected, was a big hit last year. We're grateful to all those businesses who contribute such fantastic additions to the Festival!
Colouring, arts & craft
These sessions of creativity and craft were arranged by Sure Start children's services. There was also soft and water play on offer too, all for free.
